Well after some inspiration from another thread I thought I'd post this!

I love the AC/DC track "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)".

So what other options are there?

Or, in order of preference, death, or Mull of Kintyre.

I use that song with my Exam classes as my go to example of my least favourite instrument and key change.

Definition of a Scottish gentleman.

A man who can play the bagpipes, but doesn’t.

Scotland's rave scene was a bit of a hotbed of quite ste bagpipe inspired tunes, e.g.

ASR - Power of Scotland
Strictly Verbal - Bagpipe Anthem

and probably others I've forgotten, but the daddy of them all is on a Rotterdam label, albeit with Newcastle based producer (for those interested (not many I'd wager!) Scotland, Holland and the NE had a quite different rave scene to the typical English breakbeat style).

Could be synth, but sounds a lot like the bagpipes. Not a huge bagpipe aficionado.

Love the song, but is it bagpipes or synth of some kind?
