I love his style of over the top music- not really matched by anyone else.
This - I think his style became a little disparaged over the years, but no-one did everything-including-the-kitchen-sink production like him. Bat Out Of Hell remains a colossus of production and detail, a superb collection of teenage mini-operas all brilliantly conceived and executed.RIP.

Sad news RIP
I'm one of the few people that bought his album Bad for Good, which he released after Meat Loaf and him had a falling out.

Me too, this track is still fantastic...I'm one of the few people that bought his album Bad for Good, which he released after Meat Loaf and him had a falling out.

Edited to ad, didn’t most of the tracks end up on later Meat Loaf albums too?

I thought 'Deadringer' was a massively under-rated album; probably overlooked due to the astonishing success of 'Bat Out Of Hell'... and the fact it took a few years to get around to completing.
The single was great, too - loved seeing the video with Cher in her sleazy glory on TOTPs.
