I think he was 52 years in the same band. That's quite something.
They were one of the bands I wanted to see live before they stop touring. I see Billy Gibbons is quoted as saying that 'the show must go on' and the band's guitar tech Elwood Francis will play bass, but it won't feel the same as it's not the original line up.
