Last Minute West End Tickets

We are going to London at the end of august and fancy a show. Is it still possible to buy tickets on the day at reduced prices? I remember about twenty years ago getting cheap tickets from a kiosk in theatre land.

Yeah, there's a booth in Leicester Square that sells the tickets, we did this a couple of years back when something else got cancelled (maybe delayed) and saw Adrian Mole the Musical as a result.

I've used TodayTix (you can sign up for "Rush tickets" on the day) before in London and New York.
