The weather wasn't the best, we got soaked but the music was great.
The two worked well together, liked Brendan a lot too, saw him many times doing pub gigs with a wee band. Good patter.

Before he was famous he made this cracker of a northern soul talcum tapper.

I saw him at university (Bath) in the mid '70s. Was behind the wheels of aluminium and was loading up my kit when the band left. They had an XJ6 and were struggling to close the over stuffed boot. They declined my offer to sit on it smile
