Just got back from visiting family for Christmas and read this item.
Great knowledge of music. Very sad... R.I.P Janice.....

Not quite in the John Peel category in terms of influence, but she seemed to be a more knowledgeable DJ than many.

She was on one of those Ch5 talking heads “best of music years” things a couple of nights back, let’s just say she didn’t look a day under the age you mentioned.
