I got an email from my daughter and I was too choked up to read it to my wife.
Some of the best gigs I've been to . And its Meat Loaf, not Meatloaf.

I can remember the first time I heard the Bat out of Hell album - well tape- in a mates Austin 1300 GT - went out the next day to buy it.

A great voice then with great song writing from the late Jim Steinman- what a combo.

Saw him at Harewood House back in 2005 although in my opinion, he had lost it vocally by then.

Still will be missed
