For those who have been here for a while, I have inflicted a few Hard Cheeses on you. Well, this is another - a 1980's themed mix thanks to me playing at a friends party. Blame them!

.....but I always find these mixes a desperate effort that usually ruins a good original.

Actually, I'll change usually to always!

Can anybody name one mix that improves an original?

I agree that some 12" versions are absolute dogst - most in fact. Here are a few 1980's 12" Versions that are brilliant in my opinion:

Wow, really?! Can't agree with you there. Each to their own of course, but these to me represent the best 12" mixes of 80s tracks I've found so far. And it inarguable some are the definitive versions (e.g. the FGTH and Soft Cell tracks for starters) - the radio versions just being stunted cut-downs.

If you had any clue, the title of the track is deliberately derogatory as I am mainly a trance DJ and I only do these mixes for other people.
