Watched the Netflix film Eurovision last night. (It's definately worth watching if you enjoy a bit of cheesy humour!)
I really liked the hometown song (i know but i shamelessly like good singing) and the bit at the end just really demonstrated the vocals of the singer.

Which made me think what other songs have amazing vocals?

Obviously a subjective subject so friendly banter encouraged but please don't get carried away!

Personally speaking i love the voice of David Draiman. Some of his vocals on the back catalogue of Disturbed songs are phenomenal - especially their cover of Sound of Silence

Other than that - Amy Lee of Evanescence, Tarja from Nightwish (also like Floor Jansen in this role) and Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation are great singers

More mainstream - always loved the voice of George Michael. One more time is a great song, and Kissing a fool is a personal favourite

I'm going for 'All in Love is Fair' by Stevie Wonder. Absurdly brilliant singing:

Wicked Game - cover by London Grammar (but basically anything with Hannah Reid singing). You have to listen to it all to hear the full range. Some great singing throughout this performance on KEXP too.

Phantom of The Opera - Floor Jansen & Henk Poort

Great thread. I am always trying to find new music and have added some of the above to my play lists

Some of my suggestions:

Counting crows – recovering satellites
Cat power – The Greatest
Freddie Mercury/Montserrat Caballe – all of them
Bruce Springsteen - Drive all night
