Faithless singer Maxi Jazz has died at the age of 65.

Sister Bliss announced the sad news online earlier today, as she paid tribute to the late singer on Twitter.

Was a big car guy. Seem to remember him liking Sierra Cosworths and possibly a Marcos?

Very sad to hear the news. Faithless were a big part of my memories from much better times. Will never forget Insomnia at the Midfyn Festival in Denmark , blew the crowd away. RIP Maxi . Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Serious petrol head. Met him a few years ago when manning the Quaife stand at Autosport International. Very humble, interesting, interested punter that gained instant respect. Very sad.

Was awesome.

Gutted by this. Insomnia's been my ringtone for at least ten years. A real loss not only to music but to car enthusiasts. How many other artists would release a track that's just a love letter to their car? 'She's My Baby' is just that, about his Crystal Blue Sierra Cosworth.
