Hugely influential guy; and great musician who left his cultural mark on the times. Quite a character by all accounts. Another one gone

I can recommend the Rockenteurs podcast with Crosby , also the BBC Sounds John Wilson Mastertapes interview . Depressing how the death of a musician of such stature gets such desultory recognition .

Really good obit in today’s edition of The Times

There was a documentary about Crosby on TV in the last year or two. It was really sad when he said he’d really pissed off all of his friends and that he saw no chance of any reconciliation with any of them, admitting that it was totally his fault.
Nash and Young managed to put a few words together praising his music, but there’s an interview with Graham Nash in particular on YouTube from a couple of years ago where he is absolutely spitting with rage and says he will never forgive Crosby.
What a terrible waste of talent.
