Due to unfortunate circumstances I lost my entire, albeit small, CD collection. I can recall most of what I had, but one is eluding me.

Mid 90’s to mid, 00’s similar style, to the Beatles later output.

2 albums, maybe a 3rd experimental one.

Went down the route, of visiting India and some Ashrams, which influenced later work.

Similarities to the Verve.

Any ideas?

In one, thank you both. I tried searching everything and just drew a blank.

Fronted by Hayley Mills' son ISTR - derivative stuff, like most Brit Pop artists of the period, but okay at the time

Enjoyed them back in the day and saw them live in 2016.

IMO their finest hour was this live recording from Cambridge Junction 1996. Enjoy!

I saw them live at Uni.

I guess it was this one - https://www.concertarchives.org/concerts/kula-shak...

Having started my rock journey with a pirated copy of Deepest Purple in middle school, I have to say I do love their version of Hush.

The whole Indian mysticism schtick was never going to last for them. Pity really, as Crispian Mills is a real gunslinger. I've covered a few Kula Shaker tunes over the years, on a technical level, his playing is a cut above the average imo.
