Anyone remember / into the Bridewell Taxis?

They were a great Leeds based band from the late 80's / 90's and had some catchy tunes. Think did a cover of Don't Fear the Reaper if anyone remembers. I just picked up a copy of their second album off eBay and it's pretty good. Takes me back to the good old 90's music scene! I did hear a story of them doing a gig in London when they were just on the cusp of signing some monster record deal early 90's, when some of the Leeds 'fans' came down and trashed the venue leading to the deal being quashed! Whether this is true or not...

Anyone into them now or BITD ?
