For a Friday giggle.

You are in a prison. The guards only believe in ethical torture (they must be vegan) so in order to extract information from you they are going to use music to force you to give up the information they require. They will play an album of your worst songs (max 10 songs) on repeat at high volume.

What songs do I need to break you? Mine are below (in no particular order of hatred);

1. Birdhouse in your Soul - They Might be Giants
2. Shania Twain - Man I feel Like a Woman
3. Style Council - Shout to the Top
4. The Bluebells - Young at Heart
5. Whitney Houston - I will Always Love You
6. Mariah Carey – Emotions
7. Prefab Sprout – Albuquerque
8. Cher - Believe

I could probably get them to put on a Coldplay album or Adelle that would also do the trick. Think I would prefer the physical torture than this.

Oh man, there are some good songs in your list! Good as in genuinely good songs!

I couldn't come up with a list, because I don't tend to know the names of stuff I really don't like, but any modern mumble rap stuff is pretty awful. Along with Megan Trainer. Awful woman.

It's totally subjective, of course, but if it were me...

Anything noisy and shouty like Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, etc. and all rap.

Opera, any opera.
Classical music, absolutely any.
Show songs especially talking, shouting singing.
I'd be singing like a canary in 5 seconds.

Most Beatles songs. Except Help, which I'd see as ironic and feel amused.

It wouldn’t take 10 songs, a few seconds of George Ezra and I’d be singing like a canary.

Just put Lovely Day by Bill Withers on a loop... & I’d confess to anything.

I can't narrow it down to individual songs I'm going full on genres.

Rap
Jazz
Hip Hop
Soul
Blues
Reggae
Country & Western
Gospel
Latin
Funk

I'll spill the beans if subjected to any of those for very long.

Haha! Some good responses! It is true knowing the names and artists of songs is a challenge, I did have to look some of mine up which was painful! Sure I have missed a few but others have picked up on them!

Is it just Mick Hucknall or the music? What percentage split if both? Tech questions! More interrogation. If you don't answer it we'll play it!
