My folk / Americana playlist

I’ve no idea if this will actually work, but I quite like the sort of music that’s on here (about eight songs so far) and would appreciate some ideas of things to add to it.
This was the collaboration link so you should be able to put things straight in. Possibly!

Not sure about adding to a Spotify playlist, but anything from the Heartworn Highways CD/DVD is worth checking out, a couple of examples
Larry Jon Wilson: Ohoopee River Bottomland
Townes Van Zandt: Pancho & Lefty
Gamble Rogers: Charlies Place / Black Label Blues (Best ever song introduction)
Guy Clark: Desperados Waiting For a Train

I was intrigued to see what was there, so joined and that works. But I’ll refrain from putting anything in yet as my folk tastes are perhaps a little more, um, Scottish / trad fiddle & pipes. But I’ll keep an eye on it as it hopefully grows. I’ll put some suggestions here (rather than the list) that I’m currently enjoying : Siobhan Miller, Kate Rusby, Megson, Claire Hastings, and Breabach (who I saw one half of on Thursday - great gig!).
I confess I misread who's who, but based on what thepritch has just said, and loosely the thread title, rather than the playlist:
- Kathleen Edwards
- Taylor Swift's Folklore & Evermore
- Ry Cooder
- Calexico
- Bert Jansch
- Smog / Bill Callahan
Slightly further away:
- The Mountain Goats
- Silver Jews
- Sufjan Stevens
- Grandaddy
- Sun Kil Moon

Jerry Jeff Walker used to specialise in that song. John Inmon used to play an amazing solo at the end-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGxSuU9ymYw&ab...
Apologies - can't see the playlist. So there may be a few things here that are already in your list.
A few recommendations:
- Lady A (older stuff will be Lady Antebellum)
- Reba McEntire, esp. duets with Kelly Clarkson, and her performance of "Me & Bobby McGee"
- If you like the slower and introspective end of Americana, then Mary Chapin Carpenter & Mindy McReady are well worth getting in to
- Martine McBride's Album "Timeless" has some real classics
