Hi all,
Off to a gig at the O2 Dome thing next month and from previous experience, it’s a nightmare getting the tube back in to London, to then head north out of London to home, so wondered if anyone had any experience of parking at the O2?
Is it worth doing, or do you spend the same length of time as the gig, sat in traffic?
Any recommendations?
Many thanks in advance….

If you have to drive and be near you could park at Stratford shopping centre and get the jubilee line around to the dome. Might not save you much time, money or effort but it is still an option.
If it was me I would train in to London all the way - it would have to be real non viable option not to.

I go there loads and never drive because parking is so expensive.
Also note their website comments: Please note major roadworks in the surrounding area are significantly affecting traffic flow around The O2. Expect long delays at peak times, particularly post event. The O2 is well connected with multiple alternative transport options, but if you decide to drive, please allow additional time for your journey.

The Jubilee line at North Greenwich is normally busy but will organised, as stated above the flow of people into the station is usually well managed.
However this week it was delayed and we had to stand like sheep in a pen for 30 minutes outside the station to get on the Tube. In hindsight I would have walked elsewhere. That's the first time that has happened in 30+ visits, however.
River taxi is usually great but this week we were told there was a 1hr queue to get on it at Battersea Power Station to do the 1hr journey to North Greenwich so binned that off as an option.
Depends on how far north you need to go?
If I were driving from outside the M25 I would used something like JustPark to park on someone's drive in somewhere like South Woodford, then get a Central Line in from there via a change at Stratford onto the Jubilee line.
