The sound quality on my phone is better than my 70s stereo

My phone's sound quality is better than a fairly expensive stereo set up I had in the seventies.

Or I thought so until I started to play AC/DC's Whole Lotta Rosie just now. That defeated it. It sounded awful.

Apart from that, it amazes me how good the sound is on a teeny little box. The hi-fi bores of fifty years ago would insist you needed size.
