Following on from best intro, best outro?

My nomination, Holidays In The Sun - Sex Pistols. The last 40 seconds or so are just fantastic.

Please don't be waiting for me!

Not just the heartbeat runout, it's the summing up of the greatest ever rock album.

Hey Jude was the first thing that sprang to mind.

Pretty much the summing up of life too. An astonishing piece of work, especially considering how young they still were.

On a slightly flippant note, The Rolling Stones 'Start Me Up', just before the end - and the bit that the BBC always cuts just before - "You make a grown man cry...You make a dead man come..."

It's a great outro, but I think if I was picking a Pink Floyd song I would have gone Comfortably Numb

Pantera - Floods

Despite their heaviness, the riff at the end of Floods is not heavy but very evocative.

Pulp - Sunrise

Especially when it was used in this. Possibly the best and certainly the darkest ending to an UK animation series.

Transvision Vamp: I Want Your Love

The way she purrs “Right now” in the final moment is super-sexy.
