Tonex.Advice needed.

I currently have a Tonex plug (amongst other stuff) and am currently fascinated with the Tonex pedal.

I have not really messed about with the Tonex Editor as of yet, but I wanted to know whether I can use the tonex like my BOSS GX10 , where I build a patch and am able to turn effects on and off.

Can I do this with the tonex pedal? I do find the software a pain to use.
