Boards of Canada release their first album in 13 years.

Obviously huge expectations given their incredible past outputs.

I was luke warm at first, but after a few listens at suitable volumes it's really growing on me.

Favourite tracks:
Hydrogen helium lithium leviathan
Father and son
Arena americanada

I'm a bit obsessed with Age of Capricorn.

Father and Son is odd but a real grower now I've seen the source material (I took a peek at Reddit and it is great how everyone is finding the samples and dissecting everything!)

Deep Time and You Retreat in Time and Space are beautiful, the latter starting a bit like Eno and evolving into a very BoC track.

It's a really good album overall.

Didn't spot this thread yesterday!

It's probably going to take a couple of listens, as they all do, but for me so far, Naraka is the stand out track, but thats probably because it's more 'traditional' BoC style.

Also like "177 Giraud's Mirror" which is only on the limited flexi disc of the deluxe LP release.

Anyway, currently working on it.
