Yeah - we'll be sitting glued to tablets and laptops from 16:30 today (Fri) hoping to get some for the kids/grandkids.

The only way to stop it is to do what Italian football clubs legally have to do, name on a government issued ID has to match the name on a ticket and gets checked twice (granted that was a hooliganism protocol as opposed to touting).

Pre-registration may reduce the number of opportunistic tout, but not eliminate entirely.

Also no-ones paying 3 grand for a 200 quid ticket. Last time round tickets were going for around double the original ticket price. With more dates and the fact they've already played I think nearer the time there will be some on sale for face value plus a few quid. The Stone Roses at Etihad I picked up 2 freebies via Gumtree, in the lead up to it touts wanted silly money but there was plenty spares going about (granted Oasis are a different beast to the Roses)
