Does anyone know who sang the 'Cherry baby wont you come out tonight'? For some reason I have the Raomones in my head but I know it wasn't them.

The original was by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. It has been covered many times - it's just such a catchy "pop" song. I remember a version from 1975 by Adrian Baker.

Did you know that "Uptown Girl" was Billy Joel's tribute to Franki Valli and the Four Seasons?

Both.

The song was dedicated to her (and she famnously appeared in the video) but the style was based on Franki Valli's arrangements from the 60s.
