Guitar learning book

I dug my old electric out of the loft and want to re learn how to play it, preferably mega shreading first day!!!!!
I was not very good 20 years ago but have a mature ear now and it seems easier to play, so just need a book to give me some tips and general rule on chords etc.
Then I will be able to play some stadiums in the summer....

+1 for justin guitar. not used his website but he has some tutorials on youtube. learned pink floyd's 'wish you were here' that way.

if you want a beginners book, I have one knocking about upstairs (practically brand new - I bought a load of guitar kit off ebay and this was included for some reason) - you're welcome to it if the postage doesn't come to too much (i guess it shouldn't)
