Yes got it the other day, had a couple of listens and its not bad. prefer 'shadows collide with people' though but will give it a bit more time as most of his albums seem to be growers and get better the more you listen to them.

They were describing it on the radio earlier and said that his albums can be abit wacky, but thats what happens when the person that wrote them spent years in his bed shooting heroin.

I have many of his solo album and I like the Empyrean the most.But I like the others also.I love how great he is with the band and he writes solo album that it so different and also just as good .

I do not think many fan of RHCP would like the solo work he does so much.I think this album is so beautiful.I like it more than most of RHCP work.

I think after I listen to all of his solo work The Will To Death is my favourite
