Who would it be at what type of music would you perform? I'd go for Corey Taylor (Slipknot & Stone Sour) who can not only shout with the best of them, but has a really good singing voice as well. I'd put it to effect in a hardcore/metal crossover group. Any others?

Always liked Michael Hutchence's as he could sing a wide variety of songs, but being able to wail like Robert Plant (and having heard his softness on the Alison Krauss album) could only be a good thing.

As for one trick pony - how many times have you seen an old favourite in concert + they dont play any old faves. You wish they'd stick to being a 1 trick pony then. Im not a Tom jones fan BTW but he is still popular and i still remember his duet with Robbie Williams at the Brits a few years back. His live singing voice put the so called "hipper" star to shame

Fine choices - Cornell c1991 had an absolutely fantastic vocal range - he wasn't bad when I saw audioslave but definitely not as good as the early 90s...

For me, it would have to be ricky medlocke of blackfoot, and in the same style of band. He could hit any note, any scale and play guitar, and iirc all with only one lung!
