Does anyone know what the incidental music was that was playing a few minutes ago with just the piano, and then the strings?

I don't know but I like it too... Does sound a bit like Craig Armstrong, he's done a lot of BBC incidental music.

I'm quite into the comedy Curb your Enthusiasm, and I've noticed that some of the fill-in music has been taken from there and used on The Apprentice.

Not sure which you're describing, but it may have come from there.

If you search for CYE on amazon, hmv, cdwow etc - you'll be able to locate the music cd from the series. Some of these websites should give you the option to hear a short clip from the track.
