I have wondered for a while what song was No.1 on the day I was born. Turns out it was Black Box with Ride on Time

So my question to the PH masses (who have nothing to do) - What what No.1 on your birthday?

Just kidding - I can remember listening to it on a Sunday night on the Top 40 countdown when it was No.1 in the charts. I had just got my new Philips midi system which had lots of flashy LEDs and I switched all the lights off to see them better! hehe

Just makes me feel old biggrin Doesn't seem all that long ago. In fact my car is the same age as you laugh

Did look it up but can't remember - suffice to say something 70s and ste!

"Dizzy" by Tommy Roe.

7th June 1969.

Can't say I've heard the original but obviously remember the Vic Reeves/Wonderstuff version smile

I think it was their only UK #1. They had 4 consecutive #1's in the states!
