The Stone Roses "The Stone Roses" album.

The Smiths "Some girls are bigger than others" just for the humour factor.

Isn't your musical taste something that is personal to you?

If you are over the age of 16 then surely you have already made some judgements -

a 'good' song is a little bit subjective is it not??

BTW - why is the iPod a factor? You can listen to music in any number of formats?

(Sorry - too many questions! - just curious)

You can have the same taste in music as someone else

Having made judgements because you're over 16 doesnt mean you cant discuss or let others make you aware

"A good song" I'll have to give you that one

The ipod is a factor as obviously this is how the OP listens to his music, along with 10's of millions of others

My musical taste is extremely varied, i like all genres of music but at the same time time dont like every song made.
I am 34, not that it particularly matters and the songs i like to hear vary from day to day depending on the variables (weather, mood etc).
Maybe i should have asked for people to name there favourite songs rather than `good` songs not that i can work out why that was offensive or confusing, this seems to be a problem on PH that people take offense or question others too quickly.
I have posted a genuine post out of curiosity to see what other people enjoy listening to as it is hard to remember out of the blue all of the good songs you have heard over time, sometimes i just need my memory jogged to recall a name of a song or simply just one i have forgotten!
I have chosen the ipod as we do not have a music centre in the house, we have a cd player in each car but we do not have an endless supply of cds or money to buy them hence the ipod so i can put my favourite songs/music on there by purchasing them singly or borrowing cds etc off friends.

Thanks to all those who have listed and recommended music as there are some that i have forgotten in there, the others i will listen to as i dont recognise the names of them but probably would if i heard them, that was the reason for this post as i didnt want the ipod full of tat as most albums only have 1 or 2 great tunes!

Elbow - Seldom Seen Kid the album as a whole is brilliant, but for a single track I would take Grounds for Divorce.

One of my all time favourite tracks is Out of Touch by Lucinda Williams from her Essence album, the live version from her Live at the Filmore album is even better.
