Yuck. Sorry. I hate Madonna. Like Evanescence's other work, though.

Hey, have you tried Lacuna Coil? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wCcmd0Vj30

Apache

Thanks for the heads up on this.

The album is magnificent, best I've heard in many years, although the Like a Prayer cover is not on it.

It's a bit of a pity they chose to call themselves 'We are the Fallen' - it seems to have brought out the worst in the Evanescence obsessives.

There are a number of live songs on youtube, some decent quality. The singer's live performance is incredible.

Very much looking forward to seeing them live.

true, LC are waaaaay better than evanescence. In fact, I'll go as far as saying Evanescence is a poor copy of LC, really.

Can you tell I am a massive LC fan? They've been around over 10 years, I saw them back in Italy for the first time when they were virtually unknown, I have huge respect for them all. Great band.

I discovered We Are The Fallen about 6 weeks ago. The first cd is brilliant, and yes, given there are 3 ex members of Evanescence, it does sound very similar. That's not a bad thing though. Carly Smithson has a strong voice

Looks like all is in fact lost - lead singer of We are the Fallen has got a day job with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, and will work on new material with the band 'during days off". A bloody shame if no more comes of them, because their album is really something else.

Well, looks like they're hanging on in there - just about to release a live DVD and this is a taster

Talk about a thread resurrection!! laugh

I'm a massive Evanescence fan and am seeing them at the Apollo in November.

I also came across this band called "Earlyrise" check them out on Youtube, they're very good. If you link to the on Facebook you can download 4 tracks for free, I've just downloaded the rest of their album on Amazon, 'tis excellent. They're just starting out so am trying to spread the word as I reckon they deserve the exposure.

Back to Evanescence, anyone got the latest album? Very good, not quite as epic as the first, but considering all the bands changes still great IMO.music

Besides Amy Lee = cloud9
