I've just got into the band 'The Sword' - what a great find! Their music just totally ticks all the boxes for me. Anyone else like them? Good, no-nonsense, old-fashioned hard-rock/metal. No poncing about, they just get on with it and ROCK!!
They're pretty good, and clearly very familiar with the early Sabbath stuff (though that's no bad thing).
I saw them supporting Metallica & Machine Head at the O2 in March 2009. Worth seeing if you get the chance, though I think a much smaller venue would suit them better.
