Thought a thread where we can share unsigned / local bands who we think are good was a good idea..... (I couldn't find one already running)

Anyway - Few here for you to have a listen too....

The Starlings... went to school with a couple of guys from this band - got their first single coming out in a couple of weeks - nice guys who have been in bands since we were pretty young. Worked hard. - kinda electro I guess.

Maes Lost Empire - again a Sheffield band - happened to catch them one night in a bar - really good, great show. Pretty heavy. - and since I last saw them seem to have moved up in the world!

psi phi - sheffield again - know the drummer who is very very talented - but the lead singer / guitarist is an awesome guitar player. Really really talented. - Kinda classic rock.

Excellent noisy blues rock band.
Not really what you expect from a bunch of twentysomethings.
Front man Rob is a very talented guitarist (git)

Stormseeker - Devon / Plymouth band that sound a bit like foo fighters meets biffy clyro. Pretty melodic.

They're on myspace - def worth a look.

Falling Red - Great Cumbrian based band, seen these boys playing clubs and pubs round here for a while now.
