Managed to answer (or rather, not answer) the interesting questions, by repeating over and over how good and clever the BeeGees were and dropping names all over the place.

Inarticulate and ill-at-ease, I think he was expecting a 'This Morning' celeb-worship gig.

Clive Anderson was right, and anyway it's difficult to take seriously anyone with such a ridiculous wig.

I remember watching that when it was first broadcast; Clive may be a smug git, but he was only feeding their own line back to them. Squeaky voiced tts the lot of them.
