A mate of mine interviewed him a few weeks ago.

It's been reported already about his dislike for Liam Gallagher...but on seeing the interview, he doesn't mince his words!! My mate wanted to publish the video, but his PR wouldn't allow it. Reading that he "dislikes" Liam is ok, but showing the video of the string of 4 letter expletives is not. hehe

It's all the better for his delivery being calm and matter of fact.

I have 'Antmusic' on a 7" single and still like it today, but it was all downhill after that wasn't it?

Got every 7" single from the start (Lady/Young Parisians) right through to Desperate But Not Serious somewhere in the loft

I think Prince Charming was the first single I ever bought - Used to drive my parents mad playing Adam & The Ants constantly when I was a kid...

Look up 'B-Side Babies' on Spotify - all the B-sides in 1 album (including the very strange Why Do Girls Love Horses).

Synopsis
Episode image for Adam Ant

Matt Everitt's critically acclaimed series The First Time returns for a second series which sees Matt in conversation with some of the most influential musicians of today.

His first guest is 80s legend Adam Ant. His recent battles with mental health have come to dominate people's memories of Adam Ant so it's become easy to forget just what a massive star he was. Adam was a key member in the nascent UK punk scene before leading a band who eventually made him one of the biggest stars in the world - blending pop tunes with a punk sensibility and an inspired image that was part Byronic hero, part Beau Brummell and part Highwayman.

Matt Everitt speaks frankly to the man once known simply as Stuart Goddard, about the birth of punk, his emergence to become probably the most recognisable and successful major solo pop star of the early 80s, his spectacular and tragic fall from grace, and how he's been tackling Asperger syndrome to return to the stage and release his first album in seven years.

You need to get yourself to the AntLib Convention. Haven't been for a few years now but had a proper laugh last time.

Stuart was supposed to be putting in an appearance but didn't; I think he was too sick. Not sure on the state of his health these days?
