Evening All,

My 11 yr old, therefore I, have been set a project by his music teacher. He/we have to create a CD with 4 different classical pieces on it, including the booklet to accompany it etc.

The 4 pieces must be different styles from different eras and must be particular arrangements and conductors etc.

Where the HELL do I find these pieces to download so I can burn the CD?

Handels Messiah performed by Johann Strauss Orchestra & Harlem Gospel Choir, conducted by Andre Rieu.

Beethovens Fur Elise, performed by The Ruse Orchestra & Nayden Todorov, conducted by Georgi Cherkin.

Tchaikovskys 1812, performed by Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, conducted by John Lanchbery.

Prokofievs Peter & The Wolf, performed by the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Leonard Bernstein.

Any help would be VERY much appreciated, It's a few years since I was under pressure on homework!!

Wouldn't it be better to choose music that you CAN obtain?

This would be ideal if he hadn't already produced the CD cover and accompanying booklet along with a couple of hundred words about each piece before asking for my help!

Gimme a few mins... I'll have a quick pop. Just waiting for her upstairs.

OK... Done them... They are .m4a (mp4 tracks), so you shouldn't have any bother with them.

Can you send me a quick email, and I'll lob them along to you

For a start, why are you doing your kid's homework for him?

We could point you in the direction of websites where you can download (pretty much) any album/ track you can think of in full lossless and mp3 format, but rules prevent discussion of these matters so I think you're on your own if your kid has been set piracy homework.

Try Spotify or Soundcloud for the missing one, might find a legal download link on there
