It depends

There is some good stuff, some average stuff, some ropey stuff and some downright terrible stuff.

The original "Live" album from 1975 is fantastic, some of the last twenty five years output is at best, a'hem less so.

few people admit to liking quo, but very few can avoid jigging a foot or bopping a leg whenever they hear them on the radio or tv.

Saw them a few years back for the first time at my local race circuit,Alex harvey band were meant to show too but didn't(well original singer wouldn't,would he?)The main thing that impressed me about the band and the one thought i had when i left was what a talent Rick Parfitt is,sung a couple of songs himself,real stage presence,really impressed.

Nothing wrong with that. I have one of their cd's playing in the car at the moment.
Must have at least 13 of their albums/cd's in the house.
Went to see them at the Glasgow Apollo (anybody remember that?) in the eighties.
They can get some slagging off but they have stood the test of time.

Can remember hearing pictures of matchstick men and thought it was very, well, 60s. Was amazed to find out it was status quo! Wonder what would of happened if they had stuck to that sort of thing.

Spent my teenage years in the 80`s listening to Quo. Finally got to see them a couple of years ago at the Leas Cliff in Folkestone. Their stuff from the early 70`s was great Piledriver, Quo, Dog of 2 Head etc. Parfitt/Rossi are both leg ends.

First gig I ever went to, way back in 1974, was the Quo at Bristol Colston Hall.

People complain about the three chords etc, but there's no doubt they can get the old toes tapping ... and how many other bands have been doing that for the last 40-odd years without a break?

have to say that have always been a fan, but the albums after 'Whatever you want' are pretty dire.....used to love it when they played Nelly the elephant over the PA before sparking off with Caroline.....and the extended Jonnhy B Goode - Batman. foot tapping fun.
Was having a listen to a compilation cd in the car yesterday and the Blue for you/hello/piledriver type era ( inc the original live album as mentioned above ) are like chalk and cheese to the stuff from the 80's onwards....

I saw them live at the Usher hall in Edinburgh a few years ago, and I have to say they were one of th best live bands I have seen!

And yes, I have 4 of their albums in the glove box of my car. And yes, I am 18

Have seen then twice and loved it - as above the JB Goode/Batman mix are brilliant live. They even squeezed Living Doll in at some point

Caroline brings the place down and Gerdundula is a bit good too. Both times I've seen them in Bristol they've played more of the older material and kept everyone very happy.

Great interaction with the crowd too, including hanging off the edge of the stage chatting with us during instrumental bits and bobs

I saw them a few times in the late '70s. Fantastic. They've evolved into something of a pastiche these days it appears.

I've seen them loads. At least once a year from '78 to '99, then on and off and again more regularly recently.

I love the albums up to Just supposin'. After that they did drift a little. The live set too with heavy album promotion, but now they again play much more of a classic based set.

A genuine great live band.

Still love the original "live" album though. IMHO one of the best live albums ever.

Seen them more times than I remember.

However things went a bit pear shaped around the 'In the army now' for me. Went off them for a long time. Saw them last on the Heavy Traffic tour which they played a fairly heavy set which was superb.
