Noah & The Whale - Last Night on Earth

Cracking album this. I've been listening to it all day while I crunch through a load of data and pull together a powerpoint presentation. I hadn't realised that they're from Twickenham - the sound is very American College Indie. I'm loving it.

Try the previous album First Days of Spring. It's focussed on his breakup with the bint that shagged the lead singer of Mumford and Sons. It's much slower than Last Night on Earth, apart from the glorious Love of an Orchestra and just completely heartbreakingly beautiful.

Probably my favourite album of 2009/10 along with Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros.
