Missus is away to Coachella for the weekend. Trying to pretend i'm not gutted to be missing it.

8 hours behind mind you so you'll need to be up early or staying up late.

I've never been, would love to go one year. Just looked at the line-up and there isn't much I would like to see. No one that I would like to see that I haven't seen 2 or 3 times before.

Aye, no too impressed with the reports actually, crowd are really boring and all stoned.

They did meet Jeff Goldblum yesterday (also stoned out his mind) and have a picture of him checking out the burd's tits. I am honoured

Really? My GF was hinting at us going in 2012.

Yeah the drinking areas are all "pubs" within the venue so you can't wander about with a beer. 90% of people stoned on "Cali Weed".

She said it was good and she enjoyed the festival but with the mega heat and the lack of proper party atmosphere it wasn't ticking all the boxes really.

Probably worth going if you do it along with a trip over there but on it's own not worth the 10hr expensive flights. Vegas is but a 4 hour drive away.

I've wanted to go for while, but you're just made me change my mind. If you can't wander around with a pint in your hand, the whole festival vibe is gone. I've been to gigs where you can only drink at the bar, and that's bad enough. But a whole festival? Not my idea of fun!

I think that's the main reason everyone is so stoned. She said it's impossible to get away from it. When Nas & Damien Marley were on from afar it looked like a scene from The Fog

Yeah, if you can't drink, you end up doing something else.
