I didn't watch the video. I like music, visuals are just window dressing and should not have the power to make or break a song (imho).The song is professional sounding and tight unfortunately the video looks like something some art students knocked together on the weekend using the free software on a mac.
My suggestion is to find a good photographer and designer rather than make a video, if you really want a video at this stage get some help from someone professional who can organize something more interesting.

Ha, you're pretty accurate with your estimation of how the video was made! That was actually the idea (partly due to budgetary constraints), we wanted to make something with a home-made feel.
