...a journey which, along the way, will bring to you new colour, new dimensions, new values.

When all is ready, I throw this switch.

Pump up the volume, pump up the volume, pump that beat.

"Paid In Full (Coldcut Remix)" Eric B. & Rakim.

Does it get any better?

'fraid not, mate. I've listened to this 20 times today and it's exactly the same each time.

Excellent track. The YouTube trail led me to Ace of Base, who I'd forgotten about - "Don't turn around" is brilliant.

I had a hunt for an old Mixmag top 100 of all time the other day. I think this was top 5 tackle IIRC.

Anyway, I think it does get better. Just.

Joe Smooth, Promised Land and A Guy Called Gerald, Voodoo Ray just pip it for me.

Higher State props up the Sneijder top 4. However, I feel a self imposed in car play ban for this particular tune coming soon.20 seconds in and I'm breaking every traffic law known.

biggrin The first Prodigy album has this side-effect on me - I replaced my ancient cassette copy with the CD a few years back - I had it in the car for about week before I concluded that I was getting to work earlier than ever every day but I needed to remove it in the interest of my own and others' safety!!!

Agree, but when the calming tones of 'Weather Experience' kick in, I tend to back off to about 130 mph.

For me it's always..

"This is a journey into sound, stereophonic sound"

Hated the Eric B version, was far too mainstream for my taste, MARRS was far better IMO. Anyway, it's a sample from a 1958 Decca recording called Train Sequence narrated by a bloke called Geoffrey Sumner.

You haven't heard Voodoo Ray until you've heard the brass band version!

Ha! I assumed that this would be the track I'd be listening to several barrel rolls later into a field - a sort of modern day (well, circa 1992) Panama moment! wink

Brilliant version, sounds like it's from an old film noir movie or from the Taxi Driver soundtrack. Would love a vinyl copy. Nice find.

From the same guys: KLF's What Time Is Love?

I thought it would be cringeworthy, but as one commenter said: "This is quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's simply amazing" smile

I don't even like brass but the musicianship is fantastic.
