Hi Folks,

I have recently bought a Land Rover Discovery 1 and I have noticed that the spare tyre has gone flat. To which this is where my problem lies. the previous owner had lost the locking wheel nut key for the vehicle. So I am trying to obtain a replacement but I dont know what code my locking nut is and need this to get the replacement.

Does anybody out there know how I can find out the code for my locking wheel nut.

Thanks in advance

Hari

I believe you have to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, then press and hold the brake pedal as you re-connect the battery, and the code is displayed via the amount of flashes of the rear brake lights.....

IIRC if you get the cover off the locking wheel-nut the code letter is stamped on the top of the nut itself.

its a couple of years since i took mine off so i am not 100% sure.
