Anyone on here a biker? I used to ride back in the UK and have been thinking about buying a bike out here.

I just sold my Duc 996 to buy a boat.

Never rode the bike for reasons of license, registration and heat.

Love my bikes. Sold the R1 when I was on my way here, and have yet to replace it. Still toying with it, but got other things to worry about/spend cash on at the mo! I had all my gear shipped over from the UK, so I might do in the future.

I had a couple of Harley's and Enduro's, and as with Chilli brought all my stuff over from UK and keep toying with the idea of buying a custom bike, but then get on the roads and remind my self why that isn't such a good idea.

I know, the roads here do not bode well for two wheel fun, but I feel a little feminine for never doing the test and for not having the option. I'd like to think that I could ride a bike if I needed to...just to keep my ManCard valid!

Yeah, I can understand that! personally, I'm in it for the leather!
