Traffic Fines Reduced

Received the following sms from Dubai Police.

Discount 40% on traffic fines issued prior to 02-12-2011. This offer expires on 11/01/2012.

Going to pay mine now at the Al Barsha branch.

Unfortunately only one of my 6 fines benefit from the 40% discount! Must have had a heavy right foot in Dec...

Tried paying online but the credit card payment page was down...

This has been running for months, they keep extending the deadline, the missus took advantage in October.

Touch wood I am clear this year save a Salik fine or two, beats year 1 which cost me 7,500
