Importing a car from Saudi to UK

Hi All,

Search function is broken (again). I am looking to import a car from Saudi thru a French contact (car is in France).

Trouble is the car doesn’t have any Saudi number plates but it does have a Certificate of Conformity from the manufactuer. I am told this is the only thing I will need to get it registered in the UK.

Has anyone done this before or could give me any tips?

Have you owned the car yourself and used it for a period of a year overseas?
