Hi guys, I was wondering if you could just clarify something for me, my car was manufactured some time in 2009 in the states (obviously). It was first registered in March 2010 in Qatar as a new vehicle purchased through the dealership, is the 5 year rule applied from registration date or from manufacture date?

I just sold my 2005 Vette to a Danish guy from Abu Dhabi who registered it on the road there with no issues?

Again, no such restrictions exist for the uae. We're a free market innit.
