So is Oman and the UAE, probably start at 5% so every one will ask for a salary bump.

Same here in Kuwait but not income tax, but a remittance tax at 5%

Theyve insisted that all business (invoicing, contracts, specs) is in Arabic and vat is on the way. If income tax is introduced as well then that bell will be a death knell.

A friend of mine referred to Dubai recently as 'luxury India' and I think in 5yra time that will be totally accurate
