Has anyone been?

I hear rumours it's the Vegas of the Middle East - but in Iran!?

I thought it was all bks, till I saw it does seem to exist.

It's dry, which immediately limits its appeal!
Still, I'm intrigued, but know very little about it.

It's just as run down as any other part of Iran. Hotels are basic and the ones I've stayed (which were representative) in were overdue refurbishment.
