Stranded Porsche - tyres?

Hi all - am looking for a pair of 295x30 ZR18 N3 anythings for a friend's Porsche Turbo S. He picked up a nail and the tyre is unrepairable, but he's not been able to source a local replacement. Any suggestions?

I have found "The German Tyre Company" on the 44 at Nad Al Hamar helpful in finding difficult sized tyres.

Is the nail in the sidewall or the tread?
