It's a 6 hour handicap relay race (as I'm sure you know, handicaps are pretty fair)

Yes, it's worth it.

If you're unsure, pop along this year 29thOct

We did it once,never again.
Halfway through they decided to give us 11 more laps handicap even though we were spot on our qualifying times. When we asked for the reason the response was "because the handicapper said so ,i don't understand the system" from the COC.How you can be in charge of a race you don't understand is beyond me.
Save your money, have a track day.

Not a PH team but some of our team are on PH.

We're running six Mk 1 MR2s

Handicapping seems to be a bit confusing but we're out for the crack rather than to just happen upon some silverware unexpectedly.

Slightly O/T but if anyone wants a spare pair of hands for the race I'm happy to lend a hand.

I'll be there in a single-specification Caterham team (Ecurie Graduates). Will be my first go at the Birkett and my first go at Silverstone GP!

I currently don't have a full team. Got 3 Mk2 MR2's ready to enter but we need a 4th car to make the team.

If anyone is interested please let me know.

Cool - if you know of 1 more that is interested we have a team of 3 MR2's right now and need to get a 4th to make this happen.

Six of us from Production BMW blunt end will be bumbling around at the back. Watch out for "The BM Trouble U's".

Never done it before but reports from previous years sound great so we're really looking forward to it.

I'm racing in it for the first time and can't wait. I believe there is at least 3-4 teams from the caterham graduates.

Really, I count 59 entries and 14 caterham teams. So that means there's 45 teams of "not much else"..

Yes, should be great. Organisers and entrants should be applauded for getting together a fantastic entry. British club motorsport at its best.

Apologies for the quite blatant hijack, but we're a car short of a full team, and although we could run with 4 or 5 cars, would rather have a quota of 6. If anyone fancies having a go and wants to join us, please let me know and I'll send some more details!

Cheers,
Matt

I've just signed up to join the MCR Sports 2000 team (though not in an MCR car!). Was looking at the regs and it says Historic GP circuit but shows the new Arena circuit. I thought the Historic circuit was no more? Can anyone shed any light on which configuration is being used?

The arena circuit is the only full circuit used now. The bridge section is totally unusable now only the Tarmac remains no fencing barriers or gravel traps anymore.
