......... is anyone going to this:- www.motorsportshow.co.uk this weekend??? I've only just seen it in the current Trackdriver Magazine, and I'm curious as to whether or not it will be good, or a total disappointment, because it doesn't appear to have had much publicity. I am contemplating going on Sunday, so if anyone goes on Saturday, maybe you could post on Saturday night and tell me it it is worth driving down from Manchester.

Thanks Howard

Been today, it's a great little show, but nobody's there! So if you want a chat with all the stall holders nows your chance.

I know it's a little slow reply to this post but i went there with The College of West Anglia Motorsport Department it was a nice little show with some nice cars including 2 BTCC cars and a 1976 McLaren F1.. I was in the CWA stand and there was loads of other stands however public wise it was a dissapointment. We took our simulator and most who had a go was stand owners.. For me it was a good event as there where a few race drivers around and as one of the staff members knows a number of people i ended up talking to Tom Ingram (Ginetta G50 champion winner) and spending most of the day with Jake Rattenbury 2011 Ginetta G55 driver and competing with him against Nathen Freake(Gintta G55 driver) in a pit stop challange... and this year was the 1st event for MotorsportUK so i would say you should go next year!! And College wise theres a few things in the pipe line also CWA will competing aganinst City College Birmingham (who had a stand at Motorsport UK) next year in the BMW Compact Cup which is a student project. So if you wanna make a few contacts go in 2012!

There was a stand for tools about it really.. Unless you count a BTCC Chezy Lecetti For sale at £30,000 without an engine a bargin...?
