Just wondering really, as I'm running out of space !

What with the car, trailer, wheels, spares, body work etc etc. Where do you put it all.

I have looked into renting a small unit but I dont really want to spend £350/mth on a place.

So what do you do ?

I bought a smaller house with more garage space and enough room in the garden to erect yet another concrete prefab garage just under the 30 square metre building regs limit.

Obviously some people prefer to buy houses based on other factors than places to put their fleet, and would prefer more rooms in the house than more garage space, or to be in a "catchment area" of some kind. Just depends on your priorities ...

hehe  hehe

I think you have it right. Our house is going on the market in the New Year as fiancee wants a bigger kitchen and only having one double garage just ain't big enough for the few other things we are intersted in buying in the next 12-24 months smile

I live in a condominium, I get one parking place, which I use for the road car and then I rent the parking space under the in/out ramp, no one wanted it as to far from the lifts, three cars long going from 12ft high at one end to zero at the other, trailer in first, then use this to store thing on, then the two sevens side by side, and last the 4x4 with the tool baxies and tyre racks along side it, all fits nice, and it works as long as I don't want anything on the trailer.
Best storage thing I ever bought where tyre racks.

You can hang spare body parts from the roof or if you have an exposed roof frame you can put floor boards up to make a mini mezanine to chuck things on.

A word of warning - I was targetted last Christmas when theiving scum (not that I'm bitter) broke into the store I was using and stole about 30 wheels and tyres for my rally and road cars, together with various other parts. I found out afterwards that car parts and spares ARE NOT covered by house insurance unless serparately listed. Good luck keeping hold of your spares wherever you keep them...
